The company is founded by Dr Kiresh Bedhesi, a visionary filmmaker, who brings authentic characters that leaves a lasting impression. His previous work as a psychiatrist across various units in South Africa is what makes the perspective and creativity of the 'Mad Doctor' truly unique.

Founder
Kiresh Bedhesi
Kiresh Bedhesi (Johannesburg, South Africa 1994) has always been drawn to the big screen. His greatest memories from childhood were going out with friends and family to the movies.
When the COVID pandemic struck in 2020, he worked long hours as a doctor, and because of the restrictions he spent his holidays shooting short films. It triggered his passion for directing movies - a hobby turned career.
He graduated from AFDA Film School Cape Town (cum laude) in 2022 and worked as an Assistant Director on Netflix's 'One Piece' (2023). He currently writes, directs and produces reality TV content for the South African Broadcasting Commission's (SABC) Taste Master and Tropika Island of Treasure, amongst various others.

Wilting of the Blood Orchid is the first official film under Mad Doc's belt, which Bedhesi wrote, directed and produced.
With a mind for rich storytelling and an eye for cinematic shot composition, Bedhesi believes in producing motion picture art.
